
2021 STARTUP COMPETITION
APPLICATION PROCESS
Do you have an exciting innovation to help farmers increase production effectiveness, competitiveness, and resilience while conserving agrobiodiversity? We want to hear from you.
Finalists will be invited to present their revolutionary idea alongside other innovators and attendees on the opening day of the 2nd International Agrobiodiversity Congress.

Selection Process:
Submission will be accepted from July 1, 2021 - September 30, 2021.
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts and selections made based on criteria indicated.
Finalists will be notified and will work with key event stakeholders on creating a curated page on the Agrobiodiversity Congress platform to highlight their work. Finalists will be able to network with attendees of the Congress via the event platform, starting one month prior to the event.
Finalists will present their final pitch to the Congress’ global audience on Monday, November 15th from 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM (Rome Time).
Awards for the top startups and ideas will be presented on the opening day of the Congress.
Important note: Winners will be notified via email and must respond to the notification email to accept the prize. If the Secretariat does not receive a response from you within seven (7) days of the notification, the Secretariat reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another applicant.
