+ How do I register for the conference?

Registration for the conference is open. Visit this page to register.

+ What do I need to attend the conference?

You will need to register for the convention and then log in to the event platform. To attend, you’ll need a stable internet connection, a browser, and your login details which you’ll receive after completing your registration. Additionally, we recommend you download the Whova mobile application for ease of communication with other attendees.

+ What if I am not able to attend the entire conference but still want to learn from the sessions?

All content from the conference will be available on-demand on the Whova platform following the event for all registered participants. Even if you missed the conference, you will still be able to register and participate in community boards, chats, and networking opportunities.

+ How much will it cost?

The 2021 conference is free to attend.

+ What is Whova?

Whova is an award-winning event and conference app. This Agrobiodiversity Congress will be hosted virtually on the Whova event management system. Conference attendees can sign in to attend the Agrobiodiversity Congress from anywhere in the world using Whova.

+ How can I get onto the Whova platform to attend the conference?

Step 1: Make sure you are registered for the event here.

Step 2: On the Whova event page, click ‘sign up here,’ enter the email address you used to register for the event, and create a password.

+ How can I download the conference’s mobile app?

Step 1: Download the Whova application here.

Step 2: After downloading, use sign in to Whova with the email address you used to sign up for the event.

+ I am participating from a different time zone, will this affect my attendance?

No, Whova automatically converts session times to user’s time zones allowing attendees to view sessions in real time. Whova has an option to convert the agenda to your time zone, which will be listed above the agenda on the agenda page.

+ Can I access the Agrobiodiversity Congress Whova platform prior to the event?

Yes, the Whova platform will open one month before the start of the event. This is a great way to get acquainted with the platform in preparation for the conference, as well as check out the Start Up Competition page. You can look at community boards and meet other attendees. You will also have access to the attendee list and can use this time to build new connections as well as catch up with old friends. You will not have access to the interactive sessions until their scheduled time and date - which is listed on the agenda page.

+ Can I personalize my conference schedule?

Yes, you may use the agenda to peruse various sessions, their descriptions and speaker information. Once you have selected your preferred sessions based on your expertise and interests, you may add them to your calendar.

+ How can I connect with other attendees and speakers in a virtual conference?

There are two main ways to connect with other attendees during the virtual conference.

Visit the 'Community' page on the platform to join or create discussion groups based on a topic of interest!

Visit the 'Attendees' page on our platform to search for other attendees based on name, affiliation, or common interest. You can also directly message attendees or, on the mobile app, create private discussion groups.

+ Will I still be able to ask questions to speakers during sessions?

Yes, each session offers an interactive discussion board through which you may ask questions. Speakers and other attendees will be able to respond.
